She Blinded Me With Science!

So, getting over my lab related anxiety I plunged head first into the first part of my labwork: Preparing my own DNA. Everything was going well. I found everything in the lab, I had remembered everything from the Genetics lab way back when, and I started to get everything started.
By the time I had denatured my own DNA, I had realized that the next few steps would require a lot more time and foresight than I had previously thought. Remember the thermal cycler I was talking about in a previous post? Yeah, I kind of needed that next. So I believe that I am going to denature all the DNA samples tomorrow, and then program the thermal cycler for the weekend. Tomorrow I should probably start working on the paper I have to write by the end of interim. The question is, what the heck am I writing about?

  1. Well, you need an intro about DNA itself. You need to write about your methodology. Start there! =)
